RVNL Wins South Central Railway Contract for OHE Upgradation in Andhra Pradesh
RVNL secures major OHE system upgradation project in South Central Railway zone

New Delhi. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from South Central Railway for a major railway electrification project in Andhra Pradesh. The contract includes the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning needed to upgrade the Overhead Equipment (OHE) system from 1x25kV to 2x25kV across two key railway sections.

The work includes feeder and grounding installations along the Duvvada, Rajahmundry, and Samalkot, Kakinada Port sections within the Vijayawada Division. The project covers a total of 195.5 route kilometers (RKM), or 391 track kilometers (TKM).

RVNL noted that this contract is part of its regular business activities and meets Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR). The company has also submitted the standard declaration required by SEBI Circular dated July 13, 2023, as Annexure-A.

This contract shows RVNL’s ongoing involvement in railway infrastructure work through electrification and system upgrades, supporting the Indian Railways' modernization efforts.
