SJVN Limited Director (Projects) Rajesh Kumar Chandel reviewed the ongoing construction activities at the 69.50 MW Dhaulasidh Hydro Electric Project (HEP) in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.

The review focused on accelerating project execution, resolving site-level challenges and ensuring commissioning within the stipulated timeline.

Construction Progress Reviewed

Chandel inspected various project sites and reviewed the progress of major project components. He also interacted with project officials and contractors to assess ground-level issues and measures being taken to maintain the pace of construction.

A review meeting with project officials and contractor representatives discussed ongoing works, site-related challenges, inter-agency coordination and measures to address bottlenecks.

Chandel emphasised close coordination between the project team and contractors and called for a proactive approach to resolving issues and maintaining the targeted construction schedule.

During the visit, Chandel also planted a sapling at the project site, reflecting SJVN's stated commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development alongside its hydropower activities.
