WAPCOS participate in State Review Meeting on Urban and Power Sector
The Hon’ble Union Minister appreciated the achievements so far and underlined the need to achieve 100% saturation under each scheme to realise the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
New Delhi: WAPCOS was honoured to participate in the State Review Meeting on Urban and Power Sector held in Goa under the chairmanship of Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Hon’ble Union Minister for Power, Housing & Urban Affairs. The meeting was attended by Dr. Pramod Sawant, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa; Shri Shripad Naik, Hon’ble Union MoS for Power and NRE; Shri Vishwajit Rane, Hon’ble Minister for Urban Development, Goa; and senior officials from Central and State Governments.
Shri Rajwansh Singh, Project Manager, WAPCOS, along with officials from GSUDA-Goa, presented key updates on urban sector initiatives. As PDMC for AMRUT 2.0 and Project Executing Agency for SBM 2.0 in Goa, WAPCOS highlighted progress under flagship missions such as PMAY (Urban), Smart Cities Mission, and DAY-NULM.
