NHPC shares surge amid bond issuance of Rs 1,945 crore; Check Price Target and more
The Size of the Bonds Issued is Rs. 1945 Crore with coupon rate of 6.86% per annum.
Hydropower PSU, NHPC Limited has raised Rs. 1945 Crore on 06.05.2025 through Unsecured, Redeemable, Non-Convertible, Non-Cumulative and Taxable 6.86% AF Series Bonds 2040 on Private placement basis. With this, the shares of NHPC Ltd have been surged over by 2.02% with the opening of stock at Rs 80.08.
The Size of the Bonds Issued is Rs. 1945 Crore with coupon rate of 6.86% per annum. The Bonds are meant for listing at Wholesale Debt Market (WDM) segment of BSE Limited (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE). The Tenor of the instrument is 15 Years from the date of allotment. Meanwhile, the bonds are unsecured in nature.

The stock has been trading higher since the opening of the market session.
The target price for NHPC in 2025 is estimated to be around Rs 94.56. Some analysts predict a higher target price of Rs 126, while others suggest a more conservative target of Rs 94.86.
