REC to support learning camps for 8400 primary school
New Delhi, REC signed an MoA with Pratham Education Foundation, for implementing a one-year program for conducting learning camps in 120 government schools or communities in SaughatBlock of district Basti and KatehariBlock in Ambedkar Nagar, UP, under its CSR initiatives, with the aim of enhancing the basic reading and maths learning levels of about 8400 primary school children.The project seeks to engage the parents, community, school teachers and education officials to forge a sustainable partnership for the childrens’ learning.
The MoA was signed by Shri A. K. Agarwal, Director (Finance), REC, and Shri Shailendra Sharma, Head Operations, Pratham, in New Delhi, recently in presence of Shri Rakesh K. Arora, Executive Director, REC, Shri Sanjeev Garg, Executive Director, REC, besides other senior officials of REC
