Vacancy Highlights

1. General Manager (P&S) / Sr. General Manager (P&S)

• Posts: 2

• Location: Delhi

• Tenure: 3 years, extendable up to 5 years

• Pay Scale: ₹1,00,000–3%–2,60,000 (E-7) / ₹90,000–3%–2,40,000 (E-6), IDA scale

• Eligibility:

  • Sr. GM (E-7): IRSME officers with 14–17 years of Group 'A' service

  • GM (E-6): JAG/SG officers with minimum 9 years of Group 'A' service

• Job Requirements:

  • Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of diesel locomotive machinery

  • Experience in diesel sheds, wagon maintenance, and procurement processes

2. Managerial Posts in Commercial & Operations (C&O)

• Posts: 10 (Manager / Dy. Manager / Asstt. Manager)

• Pay Scale: ₹60,000–3%–1,80,000 (E-3) / ₹50,000–3%–1,60,000 (E-2/E-1), IDA scale

• Eligibility:

  • Manager (E-3): Officers with 15+ years in Level 8 (7th CPC)

  • Dy. Manager (E-2): Officers with 12–15 years in Level 7

  • Asstt. Manager (E-1): Officers with 9–12 years in Level 6

• Job Requirements: Practical experience in traffic/commercial operations of Indian Railways
