FSIB schedules interview for MD & CEO at LIC on 11 June
FSIB is the head-hunting agency to select officials above executive directors of public sector financial institutions.
The Financial Services Institution Bureau (FSIB) is schedule to take interview of four managing directors of Life Insurance Corporation, on June 11, to appoint new MD & CEO, of the corporation. The government has appointed Sat Pal Bhanoo as the acting MD & CEO of the corporation for the next three months till new appointment.
FSIB is the head-hunting agency to select officials above executive directors of public sector financial institutions. Sat Pal Bhanoo, Ramachandran Doraiswamy, Dinesh Pant and Ratnakar Patnaik will appear for the FSIB interview.

The post of MD & CEO has fallen vacant at LIC after Siddartha Mohanty retired on last Friday after turning 62.
Meanwhile, it is expected that Mr. Bhanoo, who will be retiring in Dec 2025 after reaching 60, is the senior most MD and has a good chance to become the regular MD and CEO of the corporation.

Further, the competent authority of LIC has appointed Shri Sat Pal Bhanoo as MD and CEO for a period of three months with effect from 8th June 2025.
