BPCL's renewable energy projects were featured in a coffee-table book by UPNEDA, unveiled by Uttar Pradesh Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma.
New Delhi, September 20, 2025: BPCL’s Renewable Energy initiatives were featured in the Coffee-Table Book of Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), unveiled by Hon’ble Energy Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Arvind Kumar Sharma, and Shri Inderjit Singh, IAS, Director, UPNEDA.
BPCL was also felicitated at the event, with the honour received by Mr. Rajesh Kumar, State Head (LPG), UP, and Ms. Astha Chaturvedi, Business Development Head – Renewable Energy.
Ms. Chaturvedi further represented BPCL in a panel discussion on “Uttar Pradesh: Powering Tomorrow with Renewable Energy”, where she highlighted BPCL’s upcoming 71 MWp Prayagraj Solar Project—the largest single-location ground-mounted solar plant dedicated to fulfilling the captive energy needs of BPCL’s three refineries, reinforcing our commitment to a sustainable energy future.
