RVNL Updates Status of General Manager (IT) Applications

New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has released the status of applications received for the post of General Manager (IT) at its Corporate Office in New Delhi, following its advertisement No. 30/2025 dated 29 December 2025. A total of 59 applications were received, which were scrutinized against the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Categories of Applicants

1. Eligible Candidates:
Six candidates have been found fully eligible and will be called for in-person interviews by the duly constituted Selection Committee. These include:

Ashwani Kumar Singh
Tajender Singh
Manoj Kumar Singh
Col. Sanjay Thakran
Arun Kumar Prusti

2. Provisionally Eligible Candidates:
Ten candidates are provisionally eligible, pending submission of supporting documents such as proof of working in E-7/E-8 grade or confirmation of 17 years of Group ‘A’ service. These candidates must submit the required documents by 10 March 2026 via email at career@rvnl.org, failing which their candidature will be rejected.

3. Provisionally Not Eligible Candidates:
Thirty-nine applicants were found provisionally not eligible, mainly due to:

Currently working in private organizations
Insufficient Group ‘A’ experience
Lack of required qualifications
Not holding the requisite grade

Provisionally not eligible candidates may submit a representation along with supporting documents by 10 March 2026 to challenge the ineligibility. No submissions after the deadline will be entertained.

Eligible candidates will receive separate communication regarding the interview date, time, and venue. RVNL emphasized strict adherence to the prescribed eligibility criteria, reinforcing a transparent and merit-based selection process.
