New Delhi, March 2, 2026: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has issued a vacancy notification (No. 2026/RVNL/14-CIVIL) inviting applications for the post of Chief Project Manager (Civil) on a deputation basis.
The position is based in Patna and is open to eligible officers from the Civil Engineering Department, including those belonging to the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE).

Eligibility Criteria
Eligible officers must be holding substantively:

CDA Level-14, or
-
IDA E-8 (₹1,20,000–2,80,000)
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in construction organizations.
The cut-off date for age and eligibility will be reckoned as on the closing date of the vacancy notice.

A scanned and signed PDF copy of the application must be sent directly via email to rvnl.deputation@rvnl.org as an advance copy.

Controlling officers/Zonal Railways should forward applications of eligible candidates along with vigilance/DAR clearance and last five years’ APAR gradings within 15 days of the closing date.
The closing date for submission is 30 days from the date of issue (March 2, 2026).
