India-AI will take the country to the forefront of the AI space

Artificial Intelligence has been advancing rapidly in recent years, and its future looks very promising.

New Delhi: As Artificial Intelligence is becoming prominent in India and making it the focus area, Union Minister of State for Electronics & IT and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar states that the Government is focusing to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI-driven solutions for the country's benefit.

In his statement, he said, "AI will quickly enable India's digital economy, make governance smarter and more data-driven." 

Artificial Intelligence has been advancing rapidly in recent years, and its future looks very promising. 

However AI and India simultaneously working together to work on Healthcare, Agriculture, Education, and Finance on the other hand government is also investing more in AI to improve public services, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Chandrasekhar said that India-AI will significantly expand AI compute, and GPU infrastructure in partnership with technology companies to catalyze the development and innovation of emerging technologies while establishing a monitoring mechanism for ethical and safe use. "Creating a model of responsible and ethical AI for India and the world is one of the objectives of the India-AI programme," he added.

Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar said, “Apart from developing technology, the Prime Minister has also emphasized on making India a global talent hub for AI under India-AI. Skilling efforts are being implemented to re-skill and upgrade the skills of professionals to be proficient with emerging technologies and also to equip young Indians with industry-ready and future-ready skills".
