BHEL awarded GreenCo Rating

New Delhi: Under the ‘HARIT BHEL’ initiative which aims at bolstering its green credentials, BHEL is in the process of obtaining a CII GreenCo Rating for its manufacturing units. 

The company’s units at Tiruchirappalli and Varanasi have completed the assessment process and have received the prestigious rating.

The GreenCo Rating is based on a unique framework that evaluates companies on the environmental friendliness of their activities using life cycle approach.
