BPCL’s Kochi Refinery Wins Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency 2026

Gandhinagar, July 11, 2026:  Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (BPCL) Kochi Refinery has been honoured with the prestigious Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency 2026 in the Oil & Refining Sector.

The award recognises the refinery’s outstanding work in energy conservation, process optimisation, and sustainable refining practices.

The award was presented by Hon’ble Chief Justice Sunita Agrawal of the Gujarat High Court at GIFT City, Gandhinagar. It was received on behalf of BPCL by a team from Kochi Refinery led by Mr. Arunkumar C.R. (GM – Technical), along with Mr. Jaimon K.B. (DGM – Manufacturing II), Mr. Koteswara Rao G. (DGM – Optimization), and Mr. Nitin Dorlikar (Chief Manager – Energy).

During the ceremony, Mr. Nitin Dorlikar presented a detailed case study highlighting Kochi Refinery’s achievements in energy excellence, digital monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This recognition highlights the hard work and dedication of the entire Kochi Refinery team towards cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable operations.
