REC Limited Honoured by International Hindi Council for Outstanding Contribution to Official Language

New Delhi: On August 27, 2026, the REC Corporate Office in Gurugram was honored by the Antarrashtriya Hindi Parishad at a prestigious ceremony held at the Bihar Legislative Assembly Hall in Patna. The award recognized the organization's outstanding contribution to the promotion and propagation of the Official Language (Hindi) and its effective implementation in daily office operations.
 

This prestigious honor was conferred by the Hon'ble Governor of Nagaland, Shri Nandkishore Yadav, and the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Dr. Prem Kumar. Distinguished guests present at the ceremony included the former Governor of Sikkim, Shri Ganga Prasad; former Union Ministers Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Shri Sanjay Paswan; and the former DGP of Bihar, Shri Alok Raj.

Shri S.K. Bage, Senior General Manager and Chief Programme Manager (CPM) of the REC Patna office, received the award on behalf of REC.

This honor is the result of REC's sustained and constructive efforts in the realm of the Official Language, Hindi. REC remains committed to the effective implementation of the Official Language policy, the extensive use of Hindi in official work, the organization of training programs related to the Official Language, and the promotion of Hindi usage through modern technologies.

This achievement stands as a testament to the collective efforts, dedication, and commitment of all the organization's officers and employees towards the Official Language. This recognition will provide fresh inspiration to REC to continue promoting the Official Language and encouraging its effective use in official business in the future.
