GRSE Honoured with Prestigious National Award for Excellence in Cost Management by ICMAI
Kolkata: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), has been conferred with the “19th National Award for Excellence in Cost Management – 2024” by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). This prestigious recognition reflects GRSE’s commitment to cost competitiveness, financial transparency, and strategic resource management.
The award was presented at a grand ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on 23rd June 2025. Smt. Aparajita Ghosh, General Manager (Finance), GRSE, received the award on behalf of the company at the event.

In a noteworthy recognition, Shri Ramesh Kumar Dash, Former Director (Finance), and CFO of GRSE, was conferred the “Best CMA Achiever Award 2024” in the Public – Manufacturing – Medium category.
The awards are instituted to recognize organisations that demonstrate exemplary performance in cost management systems and practices. GRSE’s recognition reaffirms its strong focus on efficiency, value engineering, and financial prudence, critical attributes for a shipbuilding PSU entrusted with building complex warships for the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, and friendly foreign nations.
