POWERGRID CMD conferred with `Eminent Electrical Engineer Award`

New Delhi.   POWERGRID Chairman & Managing Director, Shri  R.N.Nayak has been conferred with the “Eminent Electrical Engineer Award” by the Institution of Engineers (India) for his active and vast services in the field of “Electrical Engineering”.OWERGRID CMD conferred with “Eminent Electrical Engineer Award” . Shri R. V. Shahi , Former Secretary , Power  GOI  , presented this award to Shri Nayak. 

 

The award was presented during the inaugural function of the 29th National Convention with the theme “Sustainable Energy and Technological Development in Power Sector” at the Institution of Engineers, New Delhi. The Institution of Engineers was established in the year 1920 and it is the largest professional body of Engineers with a membership of nearly 7 lakh.

 

Nayak is a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from REC, Rourkela (Odisha) and holds an M. Tech (Electrical) degree from IIT, Kharagpur. He has been a recipient of “P.M. Ahluwalia Award” and is a fellow of IEEE. He is also an honored member in the field of Electrical Engineering of “Fellow of the Indian.
