Rishikesh, 29 September 2025: THDC India Limited, a premier Power Sector PSU, has been honoured for its exemplary initiatives and outstanding performance during Swachhata Pakhwada–2025, observed from 16th to 31st May 2025.
At a ceremony held in the Ministry of Power, Shram Shakti Bhawan, New Delhi, Sh. Pankaj Agarwal (IAS), Secretary (Power), Government of India, presented the recognition to Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman & Managing Director, THDC India Limited. The event was organized by the Ministry of Power in association with the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.

Shri Piyush Singh (IAS), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power, GoI, Shri D Sai Baba, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power, GoI, Sh. Praveen Kumar, Under Secretary, MoP, GoI and Sh. Balwant Singh, Manager, (CMD, Sect.), THDCIL along with other officers from Ministry of Power and THDCIL were also present during the event.
THDCIL undertook a wide range of innovative and impactful activities to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental awareness across its projects and units.
