RailTel secures major contract order from Bihar Education Project Council
The estimated size of the order as per the LOA is Rs.50.62 crore. The time period by which the order will be executed is 31 December 2025.
State-owned RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from State Project Director (SPD) Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC). The order includes the establishment and operationalization of VEs in government secondary/senior secondary schools under Samagra Shiksha.
The estimated size of the order as per the LOA is Rs.50.62 crore. The time period by which the order will be executed is 31 December 2025.
As of August 2025, RailTel's order book was reported at Rs 7,288 crore, a significant increase from earlier figures, driven by major projects like the Bihar Education Project Council's smart classroom and lab setup initiatives.
However, despite huge order bagging, the shares of Railway PSU RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. are trading down by 1.81% at Rs 371.10 at BSE.
