WCL recognised as Highest Tax Payer in Nagpur Region

New Delhi: On the 8th GST day 2025, WCL has been recognised as the Highest taxpayer in the entire Nagpur Region. WCL has won this award continuously for the 8th year in a row. WCL has made total tax payment of Rs.4,010.49 crores including cash and ITC utilisation during FY 2024-25.

The award was presented by the Principal Commissioner of CGST Shri Atul Ratogi and received on behalf of WCL by Ms. B. Indira, General Manager (Finance). It was later ceremoniously handed over to CMD, WCL, Shri J. P. Dwivedi by Director (Finance) Shri Bikram Ghosh in presence of all functional Directors of WCL and dedicated finance team.

This achievement reflects WCL’s steadfast commitment to transparent financial practices, nation-building, and being a responsible corporate citizen.
