CCL organised closing ceremony of 39th Zonal Mine Rescue Competition 2025
The competition was held from October 8th to 9th at the Mine Rescue Center, Ramgarh, and Bhurkunda underground mines.

New Delhi: The closing and prize distribution ceremony of the 39th Zonal Mine Rescue Competition – 2025, organized by CCL under the auspices of the DGMS, concluded in a solemn atmosphere at CCL Headquarters, Ranchi. The competition was held from October 8th to 9th at the Mine Rescue Center, Ramgarh, and Bhurkunda underground mines.
NK Area performed exceptionally well in the competition, winning the overall best team title. Barka Sail secured the second best team position, and Magadh-Sanghamitra secured the third best team position.

Prasad (Deputy Director General, DGMS) was the chief guest. Director (Finance), Mr. Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations), Mr. C.S. Tiwari, Chief Vigilance Officer, Mr. Pankaj Kumar, along with other senior officials, were present on the occasion.

CMD Mr. Singh said, "Safety is CCL's top priority" and praised the efforts of all participating teams.
The closing ceremony was graced by cultural performances by the Military Band and girl students of DAV School, Gandhinagar.
