Central Bank of India enters into Distribution Agreement with HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited
State-owned Central Bank of India has entered into a distributorship Agreement with M/s HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited for distribution of their Mutual Fund Products to its customers. The participation by both the entities in this arrangement will result in offering the customers of Central Bank of India, an opportunity to unlock the value of their savings through various mutual fund products offered by HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited.
HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited was established in the year 2001. HSBC AMC was appointed the asset management company for the mutual fund business of HSBC Mutual Fund (HSBC MF). HSBC MF was established as a trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, with HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited as the sponsor of the AMC-HSBC Trustees (India) Private Limited.
HSBC AMC acquired L&T Investment Management Limited (LTIM), the AMC/MF business of L&T Financial Holdings Limited, in November 2022. HSBC AMC’s daily average AUM was Rs.1,38,654 crore in Dec 2025.
Shares of Central Bank of India are closed at higher by 2.12% at Rs 37.49 at BSE on Friday.
