HDFC Bank Elevates Three Senior Executives as Group Heads Effective December 2025

HDFC Bank has approved the elevation of Anil Bhavnani, Ravi SSN and Sameer Ratolikar as Group Heads effective December 1, 2025, strengthening leadership across infrastructure finance, corporate banking and cybersecurity.
HDFC Bank Elevates Three Senior Executives as Group Heads Effective December 2025

HDFC Bank Limited has announced key leadership elevations following approval from its Board of Directors on December 11, 2025. Based on the recommendations of the Governance, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Bank has elevated three senior executives to the position of Group Heads, effective December 1, 2025.

The newly appointed Group Heads are:

• Mr. Anil Bhavnani – Group Head, Transportation & Infrastructure Finance Group

A banking veteran with more than 30 years of experience across Retail, SME, Corporate Banking, Credit and Liabilities. Since joining HDFC Bank in 2003, he has held multiple leadership roles and is among the few leaders to have worked across several major divisions of the Bank.

• Mr. Ravi SSN – Group Head, Large Local Corporates & PSU

Associated with HDFC Bank since 2010, he brings strong corporate banking expertise, credit acumen, regulatory engagement skills and a proven track record of expanding PSU and corporate banking businesses. He has been instrumental in growing transaction banking among major PSUs.

• Mr. Sameer Ratolikar – Group Head, Chief Information Security Officer

An industry-recognized cybersecurity leader responsible for strengthening the Bank’s information security framework and driving digital security transformation. Under his leadership, the Bank has built a strong cyber-aware culture and robust defence system with zero major vulnerabilities.

HDFC Bank stated that the appointments reinforce its commitment to leadership depth, organizational excellence and strengthening business capabilities across critical verticals.
