Central Staffing Scheme Appointments: Aryaka Akhoury and Kranthi Kumar Pati Take Key Roles
New Delhi, March 18, 2026: The Government of India has approved important appointments under the Central Staffing Scheme of the Department of Personnel & Training (DoP&T).

Ms. Aryaka Akhoury, IAS (UP: 2013) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training, Delhi. She will serve a four-year tenure, effective immediately. The Government of Uttar Pradesh has been requested to relieve her to enable her to assume this central assignment.

Shri Kranthi Kumar Pati, IAS (TN: 2015) has been appointed as Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary level) at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, also for a four-year tenure. The Government of Tamil Nadu has been asked to relieve him for this role.
As per DoP&T guidelines, both officers are required to join their respective posts within three weeks of the issue of their appointment orders. Failure to do so may result in debarment from the Central Staffing Scheme.
These appointments were issued under No. 6/4/2026-EO (MM-I) for Ms. Aryaka Akhoury and No. 6/56/2025-EO (MM-I) for Shri Kranthi Kumar Pati, with notifications sent to the respective state governments and departmental authorities for immediate action.
