NMDC Appoints Shri Anurag Kapil as Director (Finance) for Five Years

Hyderabad, March 18, 2026: NMDC Limited, India’s flagship mining company, has announced the appointment of Shri Anurag Kapil, IRAS, as its new Director (Finance). The appointment was approved by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, and is effective for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders.

Shri Kapil, currently serving as Executive Director (Finance Expenditure) at the Railway Board, brings extensive experience in finance, administration, and public sector management, and will oversee NMDC’s financial strategy, budgeting, and resource planning.
