Deepak Agarwal gets additional charge as MD at Small Farmers’ Agri Business Consortium
Deepak Agrawal, IAS (UP:2000) and current MD of NAFED, has been given ex-post facto approval by the ACC to hold the additional charge of MD, Small Farmers' Agri Business Consortium (SFAC), effective 28.08.2025.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has accorded ex-post facto approval for the assignment of additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Small Farmers' Agri Business Consortium, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare to Shri Deepak Agarwal, IAS (UP:2000).
Currently, he is serving as Managing Director, National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED), Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
His appointment will be counted w.e.f. 28.08.2025 till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Deepak Agrawal, an IAS officer of the 2000 batch from Uttar Pradesh cadre, holds a graduate degree in Zoology and dual M.Sc. degrees in Public Management & Governance and Public Management & Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
He has a good proficiency in English and Hindi, and has served as Joint Secretary. His dedication and expertise contribute significantly to his role, embodying excellence in public service.
