Government approves Major Official Recommendations and Appointments
The Central Government has approved several appointments of the major officials for the posts of Deputy Secretary, Director in various government departments.
New Delhi, 28 May 2025: The Central Government has approved several appointments of the following officials for the posts of Deputy Secretary, Director in various government departments.
Ms. Shalini Agnihotri, IPS (HP: 2012), who was recommended for Central deputation by the M/o Home Affairs has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the D/o School Education & Literacy, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Shri Bhagwati Prasad Kalal, IAS (RJ: 2011) as Director in the D/o School Education & Literacy, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
Shri Mrinal Chawla, IA&AS (2014), who was recommended for Central deputation by the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the D/o Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Shri Hari Narayanan Murugan, IAS (AP: 2011), has been appointed as Director in the D/o Drinking Water & Sanitation, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
