Government approves three major appointments under Central Staff Scheme
The Union Government has announced some major appointments of recommendations made previously through the Central Staffing Scheme in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
New Delhi: 23 May, 2025: The Union Government has announced some major appointments of recommendations made previously through the Central Staffing Scheme in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
Ms Shalini Mahajan, IES (2013), who was recommended for central deputation by the D/o Economic Affairs has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the National Recruitment Agency under the D/o Personnel & Training, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier. She would be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the National Recruitment Agency under the D/o Personnel & Training, Delhi.

Shri Sumeet Singh, IRTS (2008), who was recommended for Central deputation by the M/o Railways, has been selected for appointment as Director in the Capacity Building Commission under the D/o Personnel & Training, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
Shri Amit Sharma, IRAS (2011), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Railways, has been selected for appointment as Director in the D/o Pension & Pensioners' Welfare, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
