Ms. Nidhi Chhibber Assumes Additional Charge as CEO of NITI Aayog
New Delhi, 24th February 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), NITI Aayog to Ms. Nidhi Chhibber, IAS (CG:1994). She is currently serving as Director General, Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office, NITI Aayog.
The appointment follows the completion of tenure of Shri B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, IAS (CG:1987) (Retd.), on 24th February 2026. Ms. Chhibber will hold the additional charge until the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
