Ruchika Katyal appointed as Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Home Affairs
She would be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi.
New Delhi, 20 September 2025: Ms. Ruchika Katyal, IAS (AGMUT:2013) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
She is an IAS officer of the 2013 batch belonging to the AGMUT cadre. She holds a B.Com Honours in Accountancy from Delhi University and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Currently serving as Special Secretary, she is proficient in English and Hindi. She would be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi.
