Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL)

Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL) occupies a prominent position among the electronics industry of Rajasthan. The company is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan through their respective institutions. The company was awarded a "Mini Ratna" status in 1997 by the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Industry, Government of India, for its good all round performance and excellent products .

The company has added another feather to its cap by setting up a quality management system for its operations and has been certified with an ISO 9001 firm as on 31 July 1998. The business sector extends to manufacturing and marketing of electronic products / services in the following areas:

• Solar photovoltaic field

• New project

In all these areas, the manufacturing facility is complemented by departments for materials management, quality assurance, research and development, planning and finance management as well as infrastructure and country-wide marketing and after-sales support network of offices. As far as the development activity is concerned, to revise and improve the existing products according to the customer's requirement and to introduce new products, the company is self-sufficient.

REIL has its headquarters and functions in Jaipur, Rajasthan which is known for its palaces, forts, museums and handicrafts across the world and is famous as the Pink City of India. The city is well connected by rail, road and air to the two major metros of India - ie New Delhi and Mumbai and is part of the golden triangle of tourism of New Delhi and Agra.

REIL's registered office and manufacturing facility are in the Kanakapura Industrial Area which is 12 km from the heart of the city of Jaipur and occupies more than 2700 sq.m. in a sprawling campus of ten acres of land amidst lush green environment. Spread over an area covered by Other offices include corporate offices in the city and area maintenance centers (FMCs) and sub FMCs in most parts of the country.
