CCL Launches Free JEE and NEET Coaching Scheme for Underprivileged Students

Ranchi, May 23, 2026: Central Coalfields Limited has launched a new educational initiative, “CCL Vidhya Sarathi”, aimed at providing free coaching for JEE and NEET examinations to meritorious students from economically weaker sections.

As part of the initiative, Central Coalfields Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Computer Literacy Mission (NCSM) at its Ranchi headquarters for the implementation of the programme.

The project is being introduced under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives with the objective of promoting educational and social upliftment in CCL command areas.

Up to 400 Students to Be Selected

Under the scheme, students who pass the Class 10 board examinations in 2026 will be eligible to apply. A maximum of 400 students will be selected through a transparent entrance examination process.

The selected students will receive free and quality coaching for national-level competitive examinations including JEE and NEET.

Focus on Economically Weaker Students

The “CCL Vidhya Sarathi” scheme is expected to benefit talented students who are unable to access expensive coaching institutes in metropolitan cities due to financial limitations.

The initiative aims to provide equal educational opportunities and help students pursue careers in engineering and medicine through structured academic guidance and support.

Strengthening Educational Development Through CSR

Central Coalfields Limited stated that the company remains committed to contributing toward social and educational development through impactful CSR programmes.

The company believes the initiative will create new opportunities for deserving students and strengthen access to quality education in coalfield and rural regions.
