SJVN Inaugurates 600-Seater Modern Auditorium at Corporate Headquarters

Shimla, May 23, 2026: SJVN Limited inaugurated a newly constructed state-of-the-art auditorium at its Corporate Headquarters, designed to support official events, conferences, seminars, workshops, and cultural programmes.

The inauguration was carried out by Chairman and Managing Director Shri Bhupender Gupta, in the presence of Director (Personnel) Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Finance) Shri Parthajit De, and Director (Projects) Shri Suprakash Adhikari.

Modern Infrastructure Facility

The newly developed auditorium has been built with a seating capacity of 600 persons and covers an approximate built-up area of 6,000 square meters. The project has been developed at an estimated cost of ₹40 crore.

The facility has been equipped with modern infrastructure systems, including:

• Advanced seating arrangements

• Modern lifts and escalators

• Centralized building infrastructure systems

• Integrated utility and support facilities

Focus on Sustainability

The auditorium also incorporates a 50 KW solar power system, reinforcing SJVN’s commitment to renewable energy adoption and sustainable infrastructure development.

CMD Statement

Speaking on the occasion, CMD Shri Bhupender Gupta stated that the auditorium will serve as an important venue for organizational activities, enabling large-scale gatherings, knowledge-sharing events, and cultural engagement within the organization.
