CMPDI Boosts Healthcare in Nagpur with Advanced Diagnostic Facilities Under CSR

Nagpur, March 16, 2026 — In a major boost to healthcare infrastructure, Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI) has inaugurated advanced diagnostic facilities at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital & Research Centre under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

Advanced Diagnostic Systems Installed

The newly installed systems include:

• High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Machine

• Digital Computed Radiography (CR) System Multiloader

The inauguration was carried out by Rajesh Ralhan, Regional Director, CMPDI RI-IV, Nagpur, in the presence of senior officials and hospital staff.

₹84.89 Lakh Project to Enhance Patient Care

The project, with a total cost of ₹84.89 lakh, is aimed at significantly improving diagnostic accuracy and efficiency:

• The HPLC machine enables precise biochemical analysis, especially useful in detecting diseases like Sickle Cell Anemia.

• The Digital CR System Multiloader improves imaging speed and accuracy, leading to better diagnosis and treatment outcomes.

Strengthening Healthcare Through CSR

CMPDI continues to play a proactive role in strengthening healthcare facilities in the region through its CSR initiatives.

The organization has also partnered with All India Institute of Medical Sciences Nagpur for projects such as:

• Project “Dhwani”

• Project “Annapurnalayam”
