GAIL Begins Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 with Pledge Ceremony

Noida, July 7, 2026: A Maharatna GAIL (India) Limited has started Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 with a pledge-taking ceremony at its Jubilee Tower corporate office in Noida. The programme was held on July 1, 2026, in the presence of the Executive Director (Operations & Maintenance) – Corporate Office & Officer-in-Charge, along with senior officials.

Employees, contract personnel, and apprentices took part in the ceremony and pledged to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and sustainable living in their workplaces and daily lives.

The launch marks the beginning of a series of awareness programmes that GAIL will organise during the Swachhata Pakhwada campaign. These activities are aimed at encouraging employees and the public to adopt cleaner and healthier practices.

As part of the campaign, GAIL will organise Nukkad Natak (street plays), FM radio awareness campaigns, and employee engagement programmes to spread the message of cleanliness and environmental responsibility.

The company said these initiatives are designed to inspire collective action and support the vision of Swachh Bharat by encouraging people to keep their surroundings clean and adopt sustainable habits.

Through Swachhata Pakhwada 2026, GAIL continues to promote environmental awareness and community participation while reinforcing its commitment to building a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable India.
