HPPTCL Contributes ₹95 Lakh to Himachal Pradesh's Sukh Ashray Fund Under CSR
Shimla, July 7: Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (HPPTCL) has contributed ₹95 lakh to the Sukh Ashray Fund as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, reinforcing its commitment to supporting social welfare in the state.
The cheque was presented by Chief Secretary Kamlesh Kumar Pant to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu during a ceremony held in Shimla.
Welcoming the contribution, the Chief Minister appreciated HPPTCL's support and said the funds would help strengthen the implementation of the Sukh Ashray Yojana, a welfare scheme aimed at providing care, protection, and support to orphaned children and other vulnerable beneficiaries across Himachal Pradesh.
He noted that contributions from public sector organisations play an important role in expanding the reach of social welfare programmes and improving the lives of those who need assistance the most.
The event was attended by Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, Power Secretary Rakesh Kanwar, HPPTCL Managing Director Abid Hussain Sadiq, and Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounts) Anil Kumar Sharma, along with other senior officials.
The contribution reflects HPPTCL's continued focus on community development through its CSR initiatives while supporting the Himachal Pradesh government's efforts to build a stronger social security network.
