NRL Donates fully equipped ambulance under CSR

New Delhi: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, NRL has donated a fully equipped ambulance to the Sub-Divisional Medical & Health Officer (SDM & HO) of Azara Block Primary Health Centre (BPHC), located under the Guwahati Metropolitan City.

The ambulance was formally handed over on 2nd June 2025 by Mr. Pranab Jyoti Sarma, CGM & Head – Project Pipeline, NRL, and Mr. Lakhyadhar Kalita, GM – Project Pipeline, NRL, in the august presence of Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, and Mr. Pijush Hazarika, Hon’ble Minister. The event was also attended by doctors and medical staff of the BPHC and was graciously hosted by the Azara Block Primary Health Centre.

This initiative is aimed at bolstering emergency healthcare infrastructure in the region by enabling timely and efficient medical transportation. The ambulance is expected to significantly benefit underprivileged and vulnerable communities by improving access to critical healthcare services.
