NTPC Tapovan Donates a State-of-the-Art Ambulance Worth Rs. 30 Lakh to Chamoli District Hospital
The ambulance was formally inaugurated and handed over to the hospital by the District Magistrate of Chamoli, Dr Sandeep Tiwari.

Chamoli, Uttarakhand, October 6, 2025: Under its community development initiatives, NTPC today handed over an Advanced Life Support ambulance worth Rs. 30 lakh to the District Hospital, Gopeshwar, in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand. The ambulance was formally inaugurated and handed over to the hospital by the District Magistrate of Chamoli, Dr Sandeep Tiwari.
The ALS ambulance is equipped with advanced life-saving medical facilities such as a ventilator, defibrillator, and oxygen cylinders, among other high-end medical support systems. This will significantly enhance emergency healthcare response capabilities in the hilly terrain, where access to timely medical care often poses a major challenge. The ambulance will play a vital role in ensuring swift and effective treatment for critically ill or injured patients.
