Balodabazar, Chhattisgarh. REC Limited has approved 2.34 crore rupees for its Corporate Social Responsibility project aimed at improving healthcare services in Balodabazar district, Chhattisgarh. The money will go towards buying medical equipment for six Community Health Centres and one District Hospital.

On July 8, 2025, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Shri Rajesh Awasthi, Chief Medical and Health Officer, and Shri Satyabhan Sahoo, Chief Project Manager of REC Regional Office Raipur. The District Health Society will implement the project.
This initiative shows REC's commitment to enhancing healthcare access in underserved areas by providing targeted support for infrastructure.
