Hyderabad | December 2025 The Government of India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is strengthening efforts to empower tribal communities in Hyderabad and Secunderabad through focused initiatives in education, heritage preservation, and inclusive development.
₹4.31 Crore Post-Matric Scholarships for Tribal Students
As part of its commitment to educational inclusion, the Centre has provided ₹4.31 crore under the Post-Matric Scholarship scheme to support students from tribal communities. The financial assistance aims to improve access to higher education, reduce dropouts, and enable students to pursue academic and professional opportunities.
Officials said the scholarship support is playing a key role in enhancing educational outcomes among Scheduled Tribe students in the region.
Ramji Gond Tribal Freedom Fighter Museum in Hyderabad
In addition to education, the government is also promoting cultural recognition and historical awareness through the Ramji Gond Tribal Freedom Fighter Museum in Hyderabad. The museum honours the contributions of tribal freedom fighters and showcases tribal history, culture, and traditions.
