Chairman CIL Inaugurates Workshop at Indian School of Mines Alumni Associatio
Kolkata: Shri Anil Kumar Jha, Chairman, Coal India Limited (CIL) inaugurated a workshop on 'Legislative Changes – Impact on Health, Safety and Performance, Improvement in Mining Industry' organized by Indian School of Mines Alumni Association, Kolkata Chapter.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Jha said that safety in mines is of paramount importance and is non-negotiable. He made it very clear that a casual approach in safety will not be tolerated and fatalities must be eliminated in coal mines. He requested the organisers to focus on implementing the new ideas that may come as a result of the workshop and wished the workshop all success.
