Rajesh Naik Recommended as IRCON's New Director (Projects)
PESB has recommended Shri Rajesh Naik, Group General Manager at RITES Limited, as the new Director (Projects) for IRCON International Limited. This key appointment will drive the PSU's strategic growth in large-scale railway and infrastructure projects.

New Delhi, October 31, 2025. IRCON International Limited, a major public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, is about to get new leadership in its important projects division.
The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) yesterday recommended Shri Rajesh Naik for the position of Director (Projects).
Shri Naik, who is currently a Group General Manager at RITES Limited, was chosen from a group of eleven candidates. The selection meeting included candidates from IRCON, such as Executive Directors and Chief General Managers, as well as outside contenders from other PSUs like Container Corporation of India, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, and RITES.
The official recommendation was confirmed in Minute No. 1 of PESB Meeting No. 105/2025, held earlier yesterday on October 30, 2025. Shri Naik’s name will now go for further necessary approvals before his official appointment to the IRCON board.
This appointment is an important move for IRCON as the company continues to manage and carry out large-scale infrastructure and railway projects both in India and abroad.
