ECL Invites Applications for Full-Time Advisor E and M Post on Contract Basis
New Delhi: Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released a notification for the engagement of one full-time Advisor (Electrical and Mechanical) on a contractual basis.
The position is open to retired executives of E7 grade or above, or equivalent officials from Coal India Limited, its subsidiaries, PSUs, and autonomous organizations of the Central or State Government.
As per the notification, the eligible candidate must be above 60 years and not more than 65 years of age during the contract period. The initial tenure of engagement will be two years, which may be extended based on organizational requirement and satisfactory performance.
Applicants must possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanised underground coal mines involving mass production technology.
The Advisor will be responsible for monitoring underground production equipment including belt lines, coal handling plants, winders, power supply systems, mine ventilation systems, and other related operations. The role also includes providing technical expertise, recommending best practices in E and M functions, and performing additional responsibilities as assigned.
The consolidated monthly remuneration has been fixed at Rs 1.20 lakh for retired E8 grade executives and Rs 1 lakh for retired E7 grade executives. Additional benefits include conveyance allowance, accommodation or HRA as per Coal India rules, and reimbursement of mobile phone expenses.
