CMPDI Signs MoU with NALCO as Independent Engineer for Utkal-D & E Coal Block

New Delhi: State-owned Coal India's subsidiary Central Mine Planning and Design Institute (CMPDI), RI-VII, Bhubaneswar, signed an MoU with NALCO, appointing CMPDI as the Independent Engineer for the Utkal-D & E Coal Block Mine in Odisha.

The agreement was signed by Shri R. K. Amar, GM (BD), CMPDI, and EDO–ED (P&T), NALCO, and handed over by Shri S. K. Bhar, RD, RI-VII, Bhubaneswar, and his team to NALCO.

This engagement highlights CMPDI’s continued leadership in technical consultancy and regulatory compliance in the mining sector and marks a significant step toward ensuring safe, transparent, and sustainable mining operations under a structured Public-Private framework.
