India Post and Mahanagar Gas Limited Sign MoU for Tech-Enabled, Verified Meter Reading Services in Mumbai
Mumbai: India Post (Maharashtra Circle) and Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch technology-driven, photograph-verified domestic gas meter reading services on a pilot basis across Mumbai. This collaborative partnership is set to streamline operational processes and directly benefit MGL’s vast user base of over 20 lakh (2 million) domestic customers.
The agreement brings together India Post’s extensive last-mile delivery network with MGL’s urban utility management, marking a new milestone in delivering secure, reliable, and citizen-focused household services.
