Singrauli, July 2026: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has signed a 10-year Total Fuel Management (TFM) Agreement with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to strengthen fuel logistics and improve operational efficiency across its mining operations.

The agreement was signed at the NCL Headquarters in Singrauli on July 2, 2026, marking a significant step towards ensuring uninterrupted fuel availability for the company's large-scale coal production activities.

Representing NCL, Gyaneshwar Nath signed the agreement, while Pinku Mahanta signed on behalf of BPCL.

Under the long-term partnership, BPCL will provide a seamless, efficient and reliable supply of High Speed Diesel (HSD), which is a critical fuel for heavy earth-moving machinery and mining equipment deployed across NCL's operations.

The collaboration is expected to significantly enhance fuel management efficiency, optimize operational processes and improve supply chain reliability. The initiative will further support NCL's commitment to uninterrupted coal production and operational continuity across its mining projects.

The agreement aligns with NCL's strategy of strengthening operational excellence through strategic collaboration and adopting efficient resource management practices to improve productivity and business performance.
