PNB signs MoU with Uttarakhand government on corporate salary package
The Dehradun zone of Punjab National Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Uttarakhand government regarding a corporate salary package.
The agreement was formalized on Thursday, with Dinesh Chandra Lohani, the director of treasury, pension, and entitlement, representing the Uttarakhand government, while Sacchidanand Dubey, the Dehradun zonal manager, signed on behalf of PNB.
After the ceremony, Dubey stated that this MoU would offer several benefits to permanent state government employees who hold accounts with the bank. These benefits include personal accident insurance (in case of death), permanent total disability insurance, and partial disability insurance.
Additionally, customers will receive free chequebooks and will have access to housing and car loans without processing fees, as well as facilities for opening a demat account, among other advantages.
