POWERGRID has signed an MoU with Nepal

New Delhi: Electricity Authority in presence of Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Govt. of India and Shri Dipak Khadka, Hon’ble Minister of Energy, Water Resources & Irrigation, Govt. of Nepal, for incorporation of two joint?venture companies between POWERGRID and NEA in India and Nepal to implement high capacity 400 kV Inaruwa (Nepal)–New Purnea (India) and 400kV Dododhara (Nepal)–Bareilly (India) double?circuit transmission system. Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), POWERGRID and Shri Kamal Acharya, Director, Grid Operation Dept, NEA, signed the MoU in presence of the Ministers.
