New Delhi: In a major move to boost inter-institutional collaboration within the government's public sector training framework, the Defence Headquarters Training Institute (DHTI) signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with two prominent national bodies today, November 26, 2025, at South Block.

The agreements were formalized with the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur, and the V.V. Giri National Labour Institute (VVGNLI), Noida.

Vision and Scope of Collaboration

These MoUs are designed to align with Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh’s vision for a robust national training ecosystem, which emphasizes continuous professional development, ethical orientation, and behavioural excellence.

The structured framework established by the MoUs aims to:

  • Optimise Resources: Promote the optimal use of institutional resources and minimize the duplication of efforts across training networks.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Deepen cooperation in curriculum development, joint training programmes, and sustained knowledge exchange.

  • Research & Synergy: Advance research initiatives and enhance administrative coordination and capability across administrative and training networks.

By linking up with national bodies focused on taxation, labour studies, governance, and public administration, DHTI is evolving into a central hub for inter-institutional coordination, reinforcing a shared commitment to developing a future-ready workforce for civil and defence administrative cadres.

Formalization

The MoUs were formalized in the presence of Joint Secretary & Chief Administrative Officer Shri Amitabh Prasad.

The agreements were signed by the respective representatives:

  • Dr Arvind, Director General, VVGNLI.

  • Shri Aakash Dewangan, Additional Director General (P&R), NADT, Nagpur.
