DoPT Warns Against Unapproved IAS Training by Motwani Jadeja Foundation
DoPT warns states and ministries against an unapproved IAS training programme circulated by the Motwani Jadeja Foundation; advises cadres not to nominate officers.

New Delhi- The Government of India has issued a formal advisory alerting states and ministries about an unapproved training programme publicly circulated by the Motwani Jadeja Foundation (MJF). The communication was released by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Training Wing, under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
According to the advisory, the Foundation has shared details of a “training programme” purportedly for IAS officers through various social media platforms. The DoPT clarified that the programme has not been issued, approved, sponsored, or endorsed by the Government.
The Department further noted that the programme is not part of the official In-Service Training (IST) Calendar maintained by DoPT, and that MJF uploaded the information “on its own, without any reference to or approval of this Department.”
In its directive, DoPT has instructed all state cadres and Union Territory administrations not to nominate any IAS officer for the said programme. The advisory also requests that the circular be brought to the notice of all eligible officers to prevent any unauthorised participation.
The communication, issued with the approval of the competent authority, was signed by Uma Magesh, Under Secretary to the Government of India. Copies of the advisory have been forwarded to all Chief Secretaries of States/UTs, Secretaries of Ministries/Departments, and NIC for uploading on the DoPT website.
