Acc approved two major recommendations in Ministry of Tourism and CWC
The Competent Authority has assigned additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Tourism to IAS officer Vivek Aggarwal (MP:1994), currently Secretary, Ministry of Culture. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has also approved the appointment of Krishnanunni N.M., Retd. Chief Engineer, CWC, as Assessor in the Mahanadi Water Disputes Tribunal.
New Delhi: The Competent Authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Tourism to Shri Vivek Aggarwal, IAS (MP:1994), Secretary, Ministry of Culture with immediate effect and till the joining of Shri Srivatsa Krishna, IAS (KN:1994) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Vivek Aggarwal is a senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1994 batch, belonging to the Madhya Pradesh cadre. As of 2025, he serves as the Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Culture.
Further, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Krishnanunni N.M., Retd. Chief Engineer, Central Water Commission (CWC) as Assessor in Mahanadi Water Disputes Tribunal (MWDT).
